FAQ

What is High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)?

HIIT is a hybrid of both strength training and cardiovascular work. Short bursts of incredibly intense exercise are followed by longer intervals of less intense exercise instead of traditional periods of rest.

What makes HIIT so effective?

You will experience the respiratory benefits of high intensity cardiovascular drills and the fat-burning benefits of more moderate activity. This shifts your metabolism into overdrive allowing your body to more efficiently burn fat. It is almost twice as effective as any other method. You will not only be burning fat during the class – you will be burning fat for up to 36 hours AFTER you workout!

Why is the 30/60/90® version so revolutionary?

30/60/90® increases the short bursts of intense exercise and decreases the long intervals of active recovery creating an efficient challenging workout in under 40 minutes. Curated playlists and amazing light effects transform a traditional HIIT class into a nonstop cardio party.

Who can do 30/60/90®?

All instructors can modify the 30/60/90® workout for any fitness level and stage of life. You can customize modifications to work for you. The only requirement is that you must be healthy enough to safely elevate your heart rate.

What if I have a knee injury or back problems?

We have worked with various types of injuries to develop modifications to work within your condition. Be sure to approach the instructor early before class to discuss any specific modifications needed.

How often do I need to do a 30/60/90® workout?

It is recommended at least twice a week. Otherwise it never gets easier. Your body will adapt to interval training, but it needs consistency.
